3 Step IT Group Board of Directors

3 Step IT Group Board members are experienced professionals and they posses diverse knowledge and skills. All board members are still actively involved in business.

Jarkko Veijalainen was one of the founders of 3 Step IT in 1997 and has been on the board of directors since that. Jarkko acted as CEO in 1997-2005 before concentrating on leading the company as the chairman of the board. Before setting up his own business Jarkko was a financing consultant in Sampo Finance (1989-1993) and country manager in DECLease (1993-1997). In 2007 Jarkko was named Entrepreneur of the Year in Finland in Ernst & Young’s competition.

Claes Paulsson (M.Sc. in Business and Public Law) has been member of 3 Step IT’s board since 2004. He has a solid background from the Nordic financial industry. Claes has been Business Area Manager and a part of the management of Collector Finance & Law since 2005. Prior to that Claes has worked as the CEO of Telia Finance, the country manager of Telia Denmark and the financial manager of Elektrounion. Claes has also worked at Price Waterhouse.

Aki Ojanen (eMBA) has been a member of 3 Step IT’s board since 2006. He has solid experience in Russian markets and in recycling industry. Aki Ojanen has worked for Aspo Oyj as COO (2007-2008) and as CEO (2009-). Previously he has been among others the CEO of Itella Logistics Oy (2005-2007). During years 1999-2005 Aki worked for Kuusakoski Oy in different management positions and the last three years as CEO. Before that Aki was in different management positions at Canon. Richard Guilbert (ACA) has been a member of 3 Step IT’s board since 2007. He has over 20 years of diversified experience in international leasing industry. Richard is a founding partner of consulting firm Invigors LLP and was previously European General Manager of Dell Financial Services and C.O.O. of CIT Europe. His prior experience includes time with several major leasing companies including 5 years as Managing Director of Chase Leasing/Central Hispano Leasing in the UK.
