Acquisition
The key elements of the 3 Step IT acquisition service include the provision of lease financing, collection of the information relating to the assets to be acquired, capture of this data on asset register created for the customer and training for the customer on the use of the system.
This results in an efficient and consistent method of acquisition and asset data capture whilst releasing valuable working capital for use in other parts of the business. This will help our customers save time and money whilst ensuring that all procurement is carried out in a controlled and cost efficient manner.
Use
The 3 Step service facilitates the operational management of all technology equipment and other fixed assets. All of the relevant information about the assets is easily available through a single system which means that there is no need to collect data from multiple sources.
With the asset register the necessary reports for financial and technical administration can easily be generated including IFRS lease reporting. The system facilitates the allocation of costs, budgeting, management and control of agreements and software licences, change management and inter- departmental and inter-company re-charging. In addition, the system puts our customers in the position to know exactly when an item is due to become refreshed or replaced.
Replacement
Using our replacement service customers can overcome the challenges relating to the disposal of equipment. We help our customers to replace hardware as planned and dispose of old equipment in an environmentally friendly manner.
Our prime objective is to refurbish and sell old equipment in the secondary market in order to prolong its life, alternatively we look to re-cycle the equipment. We use processes which are designed to ensure the highest levels of data security and we provide customers with certified security reports.
