3 Step IT Group Board members are experienced professionals with a diverse set of skills and knowledge.
Jarkko is one of the founders of 3 Step IT and has been on the Board of Directors since it was founded in 1997. He was the CEO from 1997 to 2005 and then appointed Chairman. Prior to founding the company, Jarkko was a financial consultant with Sampo Finance (1989-1993) and country manager for DECLease (1993-1997). Ernst & Young named him Finnish Entrepreneur of the Year in 2007.
Teppo is the newest member to the board. He joined in 2018. He has extensive experience from digital business and he has created several companies across the field from finance to telecom. He has had executive leadership positions in Nokia, PayPal and BBVA, and is a board member of Atom Bank and Simple Finance.
Aki has been a member of the board since 2006. He is experienced in mergers and acquisitions as well as in developing new businesses in emerging markets such as Russia, the Baltics, Central Europe and China. His expertise also covers the recycling industry. Aki has held senior roles and acted as COO and CEO in many major companies.
Richard has over 20 years of diversified experience in the international leasing industry. He has been a board member since 2007. His experience includes roles with several major leasing companies, including five years as Managing Director of Chase Leasing/Central Hispano Leasing in the UK. Previously Richard was European General Manager of Dell Financial Services and COO of CIT Europe.
Teuvo has been a member of the board since 2012. He has extensive experience in the internationalisation of services, and also financial administration. Between 1999 and 2009 Teuvo worked as Pöyry PLC’s Deputy President and CEO. His key positions of trust include Capman Oyj, Cargotec Oyj and Tieto Oyj, to name but a few.
