3stepIT’s business model creates a circular economy for IT and reduces the impact of electronic waste on the environment. We support organisations to access the latest technology in a sustainable way because at the end of the lifecycle, the devices are returned to us to be refurbished and sold to a second user. This reduces the CO2 emissions by displacing the need to manufacture new devices.

In 2019, we introduced a Repair Programme, reusing parts from unrepairable devices. Our scale, innovations and sophisticated stock control made it economically viable so, in 2020, we rolled it out across our European network.

The idea for the Repair Programme came from one of our employees, and we are very proud of the team who work tirelessly to eliminate waste at every opportunity. We are all excitedly waiting for the ceremony to take place on 3 February 2021.
