Our recruitment process
What happens once you have applied for a job?
Here's what you can expect after you've submitted your application.
Being a 3stepper should be the best experience. We want to be transparent about recruiting and interviewing at 3stepIT so you can come in feeling confident.
1
There’s no such thing as a perfect CV. Remember, less is always more and we’re looking to get a high-level overview of you and your experience.
2
We’ll ensure our communication to you is clear, so you know exactly where you are in the process.
3
We want to hire people who will make 3stepIT a better place. People who take action when something isn’t right or someone needs help. People who will add to our culture with their unique ideas and backgrounds.
4
We share feedback with candidates after interviews to help them improve for the future, and we always ask how we can improve and encourage open feedback via Glassdoor reviews.
Here's what you can expect after you've submitted your application.
The recruiter will review CV's for the role. We will let you know if you have been short-listed for interview or not via email.
In this short interview on MS Teams or phone, we want to get know a little more about you and why you're interested in the role. It's also an opportunity for you to ask any questions.
This interview will be with the hiring manager and HR representative. This conversation will be where you can learn more about the company and role, and we can assess your skills and interest.
This interview will either be face-to-face or over MS Teams with up to three 3steppers. This will be a competency based interview and you will need to be prepared to answer some thoughtful questions.
Next, we'll contact your references and carry out background checks if required.
If you are successful, we'll write to you with your offer. We'll provide feedback on the interview and look to discuss start dates.
Once you've accepted the offer, we will give you all the information you need about joining 3stepIT.

Every applicant is important to us, and we regularly check our open applications. We keep the CV's and other documents of open applications for 1-2 years depending on the country where you would like to apply to. We review applications every time we have an opening and contact the ones we think are suitable for a role at us.
There are many factors that affect the duration of a recruitment process. These include the number of applicants, the level and complexity of the role, the country and business unit we’re recruiting for and internal as well as external events. There is no 'typical' duration for a recruitment, so don’t be alarmed if the process goes faster or takes longer than what you have previously experienced!
We value the time and effort you put in applying to our open positions, which is why we are committed to giving personalised feedback to every applicant who makes it to the 1st round of face-to-face interviews with the hiring manager. This feedback can be given in the form of a call or email depending on the candidates’ preference.
We are committed to hiring the best talent available. When recruiting managers or other key individuals we have the possibility of using personality assessments or other assurance tests to help us with our recruitment decisions.
