Their headache
Previously, they purchased IT equipment with cash and often used the devices over a prolonged period of time. This meant that most of the equipment ended up being worthless at the end of its lifespan and needed to be disposed of.
Their increasing growth meant that there was a need to acquire more, and better, equipment. And because the company wanted to invest in this continued growth, they were keen to avoid tying up liquidity with large capital purchases. All of which led them to engage with us.
When we met R&D initially, they lacked an overview of their IT portfolio and this meant that they didn’t have full oversight of exactly what equipment they had and who was using it.
