As the medical profession continues its rapid digitalisation, device volumes are projected to increase, so a centralised view of all assets was crucial. So too was the ability to regularly refresh devices, ensuring the best health outcomes can be achieved for patients now and into the future. With healthcare technology, the asset lifecycle can be extended up to 10 years, so the potential to repair, reuse and reduce the environmental impact of devices is significant. When the campus refreshes its digital tools, used devices will be securely collected and refurbished by our team of product life extension experts, ensuring strict regulatory compliance measures are met. The refurbished devices can then be sold to a new user, displacing the manufacture of new devices, which in turn reduces natural resource strain, carbon emissions and e-waste.
