In-take and receipt

When your shipment arrives, we cross-check every device, document any damage, and apply unique product ID tags for full traceability. Every asset is accurately verified, inspected, and securely processed, with all receipt details logged into our inventory management system.

Inventory

We systematically categorise each device by make, model, configuration, and condition, capturing detailed specifications, including serial numbers and component details. Assets are labelled and tracked using barcode or RFID technology for real-time visibility and assigned storage locations optimized for accessibility and protection. Comprehensive inventory reports offer clarity, insights, and peace of mind.

ISO-certified data sanitization

We offer a single, secure chain of custody from device collection, through to processing and resale. All our 3stepIT refurbishment sites are ISO-certified and we use best in class data sanitization software for secure device overwriting (NIST 800-88 standard). On the rare occasions when manual shredding process is required, we adhere to the DIN66399 standard. We generate individual tamper-proof erasure certificates for every tech asset and provide a Certificate of Destruction covering all sanitized and shredded materials.

Quality check

Our quality check process guarantees inventory accuracy and compliance. Our industry-leading AI grading tool individually photographs and assesses each tech asset to identify specific damage, quantify the level of wear and tear, and give an unbiased quality grading*. Real-time status updates, compliance reviews, and reporting ensure every asset meets strict compliance standards and client requirements.

Order fulfilment

We pick orders from inventory based on precise, customer-specific order profiles. We thoroughly check every tech asset for quality before they are securely packed and transported. We coordinate all logistics and shipping documentation, including asset manifests and tracking information for full visibility and control.
