Introducing

Helsinki Parish

Partnering with us for over 10 years, the Helsinki Parish Association procures and manages laptops for more than 1,200 employees and – through our Technology Lifecycle Management service – they also acquire, manage, and dispose of printers, multifunction devices and audio-visual equipment.

Challenges

Their headache

Previously, individual parishes acquired their own equipment and operated independently, often holding onto old devices that were slow to operate and required a lot of IT support.

Solutions

How we helped

Now the Parish Consortium provides member churches with a ready-made procurement channel and central IT support. Our asset management platform also provides a comprehensive device register, which is integrated into each congregation's background systems. And the client particularly appreciates the versatile reporting, search function, and filtering features of this.

We help the Parish Consortium to monitor IT devices across the board, and we identify areas for concern and support the implementation of corrective measures. Device and equipment health has been restored to optimum levels, and they’re assured that virus protection and data security is also completely up-to-date, providing real peace of mind.

One of the most significant development projects has been the optimisation of the Group's equipment return and renewal plan. We now have as many as 25 pick-up points and four return times a year, and we’ve been able to adjust rental periods so that all parish returns are applied at once. We collect devices and then take them through best-in-class data sanitization processes, before refurbishing them for a second life, or recycling them if absolutely necessary.

Our Happy Clients

In their own words

3stepIT's sustainable operating model is also important for the Parish Association, because our own activities are also centered around ethical and green values. 3stepIT has succeeded in convincing both with its messages and its concrete actions that the circular economy model is the only sensible course of action for sustainable development.
