I started from customer service nine years ago, and I've had, I think, five different positions within the company since then. The next job was service account manager, and even though people often work as service account managers for, say, ten years, I worked only one year. People would say to me, ‘You should work in sales,’ and I would go, ‘Well, maybe I can try.’ So I did – I jumped into sales.
I built the account specialist role, working with really small customers and doing everything for them. After that I became key account manager, working with medium sized customers, and eventually I began working with large customers.
I'm not the only contact person for my customers – I manage an internal team to make sure that the customer is happy. We work side by side with our customers rather than on the opposite side of the table. We help them to achieve their sustainable strategies with their IT equipment, take the right finance decisions, and optimise their IT lifecycle management.
It's been an amazing journey for me.

What I like most about the job
3stepIT is part of what I do, it’s an identity of some sort, so it's very important for me that this is a company I can stand behind. Sometimes there are issues, but always we are honest – and we have a good product, so it's easy to sell and that’s very important for a salesperson.

One thing I really appreciate about 3stepIT

How I would I describe the culture

What being a 3stepper means to me
If you want to, you can really achieve something here. I know I haven’t reached the end of my journey here, and I still want to achieve new things. I don't know what it will be yet, but we’re growing internationally so there are all kinds of possibilities.
