Privacy and cookie policy

This privacy and cookie policy explains our approach to personal data: the data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. It also explains our use of cookies on the 3 Step IT website.

First some general principles about what we do with the data we collect
-We hold personal data that is relevant to the services we provide, and we use it to improve our service to you
-We will never sell any personal data we collect to a third party
-While we may share aggregate data about customers, for example for market research purposes (e.g. 50% of our prime customer contacts are CFOs), we will never do this in a way that allows individuals to be identified.
-Data may be shared with suppliers, e.g. held on our website hosting service. This is only done with appropriate non-disclosure & confidentiality agreements, to protect your interests and ours.
-Cookies allow us to identify returning customers, and what they are interested in. We will use this data to personalize your visit to our web site, and reduce duplicate data requests. For example, you should not need to tell us your name, if you already gave it to us before (that is the principle, and we’re getting there).
-We are not responsible for any third-party websites that you enter through our website. Our personal data policy does not cover data collected by any third-party websites, so you should refer to the privacy statements of those websites. 3 Step IT does not control cookies from third-party websites. The third parties are responsible for how these cookies work and how they process personal data.

We will use personal data in a clear and transparent way. We won't use your personal data for hidden purposes. We will be open and honest with you. We strive for clear and easy to understand communications, not jargon. We hope this policy is a good example of clear, jargon free communications.

The 3 Step IT website server may send cookies to the user’s access device or equipment to improve the way the website works. Cookies can be disabled in most Internet browsers, but doing so may prevent some 3 Step IT website functions or web pages from operating correctly.

We may also use this data to develop our customer relationship with you and, to the extent permitted by applicable laws, for communication, advertising and marketing and statistical purposes.

Our communications will give you the opportunity to opt out from our marketing messages.

We may also share personal data we have as permitted and required by applicable laws; e.g. data may be shared as required by the public authorities.

We will never sell personal data to any third party.

6. Inspecting and correcting collected personal data

You have the right to know what personal data we have collected about you. If you spot errors, it’s clearly in our interest to correct or complete personal data we hold.
